Why write an eBook'

You want ongoing, lifelong multiple streams of income. You
want to raise your credibility and trust ratings with clients or
customers. You want to get your message out so the world can
be a better place.

You want to spend only a little time on it. (Would you be willing
to spend 4 hours a week') You want to get it out fast (Would
4-8 weeks be OK') You want to market for a low-cost
investment. And, for some of you, you are ready to be innovative
and even take a small risk to get your eBook read by hundreds
of thousands, rather than hundreds!

Where are you now'

You have an idea for your eBook; you have a lot of ideas!
Take a moment and decide which one you are most passionate
about now and will be for the next year or two. Focus on one
great idea, where you know what the audience needs or wants--
your solutions to their problem.

Or, do you have your eBook well on its way, but aren't finished.
You need advice on how to get it done, what's needed to publish
(not much!), and how to distribute it to pull continuous monthly
sales that can be 1/3 to 1/2 your income'

publishing to sell faster, more, and create more cash
flow for marketing.

What do I Need to Know Before I write this eBook'

1. To help make your eBook successful apply the
essential "Seven Hot-Selling Points." These include
title, table of contents, thesis, "60 second tell and sell,"
one preferred audience, introduction and the back cover.

Why' Every part of your book can be a sales tool. When you
include the above "hot-selling points" you will have a roadmap
to guide you to writing a focused, organized, compelling book
that you will only have to edit a few times.

2. You also need to know how to write a focused, organized,
chapter each time. Think format. Each chapter should have
approximately the same number of pages if it is a self-help book.
Each book chapter may need an introduction, an opening few
questions or shocking facts to hook the reader to keep reading,
a few stories or analogies to illustrate your how-to's, and an
ending that may be a summary, questions to ponder, or action
steps to take.

Designing every chapter and knowing your essential "hot-selling
points" are your eBook's 24/7 sales team and a beacon that
brings out your best: writing a compelling, easy to read, inspiring
and informational eBook that hundreds of thousands of buyers
will want.

Customer Review: Not as Advertised
I bought this to read current books. It is well built and easy to use - BUT - if you want to read current Authors, it's very difficult to find these books in .txt or the old .pdf format that isn't the new Adobe Digital Ebook!!! Adobe Digital Ebook won't work with the Jetbook. I also find the screen darker than shown in the picture!! It's more brown. I ended up getting the Sony PRS 505 and now am very happy!! For strictly reading Best Sellers and New Released books - this doesn't make it!!! If you want to read classics (Moby Dick, Huckleberry Finn, etc.) than this will work!! I suggest before you buy any ebook reader, check out the websites and see what books are offered in the formats for each reader!!! No matter which Ebook you purchase, the prices are the best at Amazon.com!!!

A Short Course in Canon Powershot G9 Photography book/ebook
This book/eBook package is your guide to getting more interesting and creative photos with the 12 megapixel Canon Powershot G9. It discusses every camera setting on this high-quality camera in a clear, well-illustrated style, with many integrated tips and QuickSteps, but it also does much more. You'll also learn the concepts of photography as you learn why and when you use specific settings, not just how to set them. You'll find that this guide helps you quickly master your camera so you'll be getting the kinds of photos you hope for.

The book is printed in black & white and has a well-liked spiral binding that lets the book lie flat or be folded back. The accompanying eBook on a CD disc is a printable and searchable full-color version of the same book in Adobe's popular PDF format. It can be printed out in whole or part and read on a PC or Mac using the free Acrobat Reader or any current Web browser. This eBook also includes clickable links to 50 or so interactive animations that illustrate the core concepts of digital photography such as exposure compensation, lens focal lengths, histograms, and much, much more. (To use these animations you do need an Internet connection.)

Just some of the things you'll learn are how to take pictures in fully automatic point and shoot mode and how your camera captures digital images; how to play back and manage your images; how to use buttons, dials, and menus; control image size and quality, including using the popular and very high-quality RAW format; shoot continuously, use all of the camera s exposure modes and exposure controls to get photos that show the scene exactly as it is, or as you want to interpret it; use histograms for the best possible exposures; see how to control sharpness in your photographs; and how to use focus, depth-of-field, sharpness, softness, and blur creatively. Learn all about light and color and how to use them creatively. Understand how they change throughout the day and seasons, how they are affected by the weather, and how light's direction and quality affects highlights and shadows. See how to set white balance to capture colors the way you see them. Learn how to use your zoom lens creatively when photographing scenery, interiors, people, and very small subjects. See how to creatively use the built-in, and optional external flash, indoors and out and in good light and bad and how to use studio lighting for product shots and portraits. Explore little known but essential flash techniques such fill and slow sync flash. Finally, see how to use panoramic and continuous photography; shoot movies and record sounds; control tone, sharpness and hue; shoot in black & white; customize the camera to better suit your shooting style; and enter a print order.
Customer Review: Learning a LOT!
I'm a novice to intermediate camera buff. While I haven't read all the way through this book yet, I have learned a lot so far. I am going page by page, and am already discovering things I didn't know this camera would do. I find the book reasonably easy to follow. It makes much more sense when I have my camera right there and try the features. I don't think you can just read it and understand, at least I can't. I think that is true of all "how to" books. I'm quite happy with this book so far and am glad I got it. It is certainly more helpful than the shamefully tiny abridged manual that comes with the camera. This was not a "cheap" camera, and I think Canon could afford to include a better manual. I've gotten better manuals with $20 software. This book expands on the manual a lot and gives you info, in understandable language, that Canon doesn't.

Customer Review: Good, but flaky.
I had previously owned a Palm Tungsten E which was really a nice PDA but it's memory was just too small for my needs so I gave it to a relative and purchsed a T/X. Bad Move. The unit has some very good points. It's fast, has an excellent display and comes with great software. My problem is the touch screen. The screen on my original T/X was damaged so I sent it off to Palm for repair, paying full price for the screen repair. What followed was an exercise in pure frustration. I would get a unit back from Palm (6 units in all), it would last about 2 - 3 months and then the digitizer would go out rendering the touch screen useless. Each time I sent it back I would be without my T/X for a couple of weeks. After much complaining, they finally sent me a unit that held up, to just one week after the warranty ran out and then it's digitizer went out. Now I'm looking at paying Palm, or another service company, to replace the digitizer. Supposedly there is an aftermarket glass digitizer that works better than the plastic one that Palm uses. Just understand that as good as the T/X is it does have a problem with the digitizer. And even purchasing an aftermarket alignment program didn't help mine. You can to the Palm Forum and check it out yourself.

Getting Unstuck: Breaking Your Habitual Patterns & Encountering Naked Reality
An urge comes up, we succumb to it, and it becomes stronger. We reinforce our cravings, habits, and addictions by giving in to them repeatedly. Pema Chödrön guides us through this "sticky feeling" and offers us tools for learning to stay with our uneasiness, soften our hearts toward others, and ourselves and live a more peaceful life in the fullness of the present moment.
Customer Review: Something everyone should listen to
This CD set is taken from a series of classes given by Pema Chodron to help us to understand that we can have some control over the thoughts and emotions that enter our minds. Although meditation is the primary tool used by Buddhists to be become of aware of and work with thoughts and emotions, the information given by Pema Chodron is not specific to meditation. We all have trouble dealing with our emotions at times, and these teachings help us to see what it is that we are dealing with and offers advise on how to deal with our emotions. I don't meditate, but I found the information to be very useful and I believe it can be of benefit to everyone. Pema Chodron speaks in a very accessable manner and uses stories and humor to illustrate her teachings, making it very easy to listen to these CD's. I can't imagine that anyone would not appreciate hearing them--I've listened to them several times. I highly recommend this set.

Sony PRS-505/LC Blue Digital Book Reader
The Reader Digital Book holds about 160 eBooks or hundreds more with optional removable memory cards. Its portable size makes it the perfect travel companion, allowing you to read a variety of books whenever and wherever you want. With thousands of eBook titles available from the CONNECT eBooks Store, you can choose to download new releases, classics and popular book titles as well as view other document formats such as Adobe PDF10, RTF, TXT, BBeB and Microsoft Word. Its long battery life lasts up to 7,500 continuous page turns, and the amazing paper-like screen technology is easy on the eyes.
Customer Review: Sony Blue not for Europe
Sony PRS-505/LC Blue Digital Book Reader This Reader should not be sold to Europe because you need a Visa card with an American address to order books to read. The manual and the "interface" are not up to Apple standard. A large manual like a map of USA where you have to jump around from digit 1 to digit 9 to make any sense of the product is not a nice introduction. If you are not very young you can't read commercial PDFs, the text gets too small and you can't increase it very much. I use the reader for texts from the Gutenberg site.

Economics of Money, Banking and Financial Markets plus MyEconLab plus eBook 1-semester Student Access Kit, The (8th Edition) (MyEconLab Series)
Economics of Money, Banking, and Financial Markets heralded a dramatic shift in the teaching of the money and banking course in its first edition, and today it is still setting the standard. By applying an analytical framework to the patient, stepped-out development of models, Frederic Mishkin draws students into a deeper understanding of modern monetary theory, banking, and policy. His landmark combination of common sense applications with current, real-world events provides authoritative, comprehensive coverage in an informal tone students appreciate. Mishkin’s previous post as Executive Vice President and Director of Research at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York lends an insiders-view that helps to demystify this key institution for students.
Customer Review: buy something else
Well I took the Financial Markets course at my university, both of my professors are very good at conveying information. Then when I read this textbook, man all the things in my head were messed up. This textbook is kind of Reviews of Money, Banking and FN Markets. It never really add more information to your brain if you have already taken couple of FN courses. I do recommend Financial Markets and Institutions by Jeff Madura or Money, Banking and Financial Markets by Stephen Cecchetti. Those guys are easier to read and follow.
